So my last pair of flip flops blew out the other day. Went to the store to get another pair...just couldn’t bring myself to drop $60 on a pair, I ended up getting a pair of slides instead. The idea of throwing on some slides with socks on has always been appealing (around the house of course), but here I sit with my feet constricted by these damn things. Wtf have I done?!

What do you all prefer?
Currently rocking Nike Comfort Slide II's with black Dickie socks...Screw just around the house, their on walking the aisles at Publix & Home Depot...

Flops for me but I haven't bought a pair in 3 years. My favorites are 10 years old! I do wish I bought reefs for the bottle opener.

Once mine break I can't see myself paying 50-60 for another pair.

Best flip flops Ive ever owned are made by Quicksilver. Very similar to these:

Men's Coastal Oasis Sandals 191274246109 | Quiksilver

Im going on a few years with them now. Mutiple attacks by cats (claws) and dogs (chewtoy) and they are still fully functional. Most have genuine rubber soles so they last a long time and grip very well compared to neoprene rubber.

All my shoes slide on, but I don't own a pair of anything discussed in this thread nor have I ever worn anything discussed in this thread. Socks and shoes only for this guy.

Sanuk flip flops. All day, every day in the summer.
Most comfortable pair of flip flops I've ever owned. I've walked 8 miles+ in a day with no pain in my feet etc. I swear by them. On my second pair now. (first pair lasted over 5 years of heavy use)

Around here, the slide on shoes (Adidas/Nike etc) are mostly utilized by the Spanish community (with knee socks, of course)

FlahDah man.
When I see people wearing socks and slides that didn't just finish a sporting event I just assume they are retarded.
Asia is crying at this insult.

I can’t wear flip-flops, they fly off my feet when I walk.

Try the Sanuks. They have a boat load of different styles and colors.
So damn comfy with the "beer cozy" material. Also, the strap part is padded on the foot side, so they don't chafe or different at the top of your foot.

Those are Dan Post. Over the years I have built a boot collection. I love Luccese
Nice boots, if those are Ariats I have the same ones in a different toe. They're the most comfortable shoes i own.

Fyi, Amazon has flip flops dirt cheap.
Those are Dan Post. Over the years I have built a boot collection. I love Lucchese boots, but the prices can get stupid. I have one pair of those that rarely see my feet.

I've never tried Ariat. I will have to look into them at some point.

Sorry about the thread detail. Back to toeless footwear.
