I just got the sweet Tri-State Kenwood DNX890HD deal (got the head unit, waiting on the adapter and module). I wanted my fellow forum members to post up their subwoofer, sub enclosure, speaker, and amp(s) used so I can have a better idea what to get. I'm thinking two 10" subs, rear firing but I'm clueless on what brand speakers, subs, and amps to get since I've been out of the audio game for two decades. Thanks all, I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your setups.

Edit: I was hoping to get 2 10" subs along the back seat and still fit the Steeda X Brace...if possible, but it's not a deal breaker. I do not want one of those single corner sub boxes as I need the wider rear area of the trunk for storage (need to fit the golf clubs, lol).

This was my first stereo install. A lot of trial and error, but it sounds great and I'm happy with the way it came out.

Tuffnuts23, can you list the components you used...I see JL (awesome) (My next door neighbor growing up is the "L" in the JL!...wish I stayed in touch with him!)

I used JL everything. 10w6 subs and 6x8's for the doors. 1000w slash v1 amp for the subs, 400/4 bridged for the door speakers.
I got lucky on the box. It was just a random box sitting in the back of my local stereo shop and it happened to fit perfectly.
0 gauge from the battery to the power distribution block. 4 gauge from block to amps. A whole shitload of sound deadener. It's heavy which hurts track times, but I can't stand trunk rattle.
You have a head unit so you don't need a line out converter.

I wanted to do a nice looking/seamless install, but I needed to make it easy to remove for track days. I will be doing a slightly smaller dual 10" box in a week or two.

Nothing too fancy. I've kept it pretty simple so far. I want to get more sound deadener added along with remove the rear deck speakers and amplify the doors.

System now consists of:
Kenwood DNX890HD
Infinity Kappa 682,9cf door/deck speakers
Audioque 1200d amp
SSA 12" Icon
Rockford Fosgate 2f cap

Built the box so it flows with the multi-level trunk

Love the icon :) I had a hard time deciding between the idmax and the xcon, but ended up with the idmax because I got an amazing deal on it.

Its a pretty stout little sub. I'd like to play around it in a ported enclosure, but i really like the footprint of the small sealed enclosure.

Single kicker 10 just enough thump and not talking up the entire trunk box was only like 6in thick sat up on the trunk shelf flush

I cleaned up the battery wiring. Sucks they didn't make a yellow top for our cars at the time. Don't know if they do yet.
