I did a quick pull last night when I hit third and it redlined, put in forth and still no forward movement.

I’m not getting any power to the rear wheels. I would Imagine if something in the rear it trans broke I would hear something.

I’m thinking I may have blown the input shaft to the trans. Does anyone else have any ideas of where I should begin to check?

Is there anyways to check the input shaft without pulling the trans?

with the engine running and car in neutral, foot off the clutch if you try to put it in gear does it let you? Doing it slows you should be able to feel if its about the clash.

If you jack it up you may be able to see up in there past the clutch fork.

With the engine running I can put it in any gear without any issue. It shifts completely normal.

Maybe if I try to put it in gear with the engine running and no clutch. That should tell me if power is even making it to the clutch correct?

I’ve never had a diff blow with it continuing to make noise.

Easiest way to check is spinning the driveline or seeing if it spins when in gear.

Never dealt with a broken input shaft but I suppose it could have just enough gap that it won’t make noise when in gear.

That or you exploded the clutch hub but those make noise too in my experience.

Just get it up high enough to where you’d pull the trans and see if the driveshaft is moving when in gear.

You may be able to see into the bellhousing if you pull the cover for the clutch cable but no much of the input shaft is exposed. Does the drive shaft turn with it running in gear?

Just went down and started it up dropped in in every gear without touching the clutch.

Put it in gear jumped out and looked under and the driveshaft is not spinning.

I had push it in the garage yesterday with my gf in the drivers seat, that being said it’s not in a spot where I can jack it up and pull the cover for the bell housing at the moment.

I just hope it’s something simple like an input shaft and not the damn motor.

Either it’s the hub of the clutch or the input shaft would be my guess.

If anything were spinning in the trans, you wouldn’t be able to hit gears with the clutch.

Highly doubt it’s the engine. 10 spline clutch?
Engine would not be my first guess, I would put money on a clutch issue

10 spline clutch! I assume the only upgrade is the 26 spline?

That is your best and only option unless you want to put another 10 spline back in it

The 10 spline is officially toast! It’s got a new spec clutch.

Can I just replace the clutch plate? If so what clutch do you guys recommend for a 600hp car?

If not I’ve got to figure out what clutch this is and sell it with less than 1000 miles on it…

McLeod RTX. Sell the 10 spline, By the time and cost you maybe can get it to 26 spine spec probably not worth it. My understanding is cutches are built and balanced as full kits and one off piece replacement is probably not going to happen. Guess you could call the clutch manufacturer and ask though.

You should be able to get a new disc. Depending on how many miles I'd be a little concerned with the new disc bedding to the old pressure plate.
