Sharpie Mustang's car is badass. I would love to see it in person.

Not my cup of tea, maybe im missing something but wouldn't it wash off after time? or is there a clear they put over it?

Reminds me of a tattoo..you just keep adding more lol.
Maybe if you clear coat over it or something? Wouldn't it rub off or fade? I thought the cobra was ok when it was just the hood, now it's gone too far IMO.

I read somewhere some people put a coat of clear over it. I can completely see why some find it tacky or whatever, its hard to imagine it done tastefully but I can. I really dig the stripes on the Camaro, and maybe the Mustang if just the roof was done.

I'm going to say I'm a fan, but not a huge fan, only because I feel like in the last 10yrs cars have become so sterile looking. Do anything interesting and it's immediately labelled as "rice".

The only gripe I have with this car, he has awesome TF wheels then he puts these cheesy caliper covers on? Egh

:thumbsup:I obviously like it myself, that being said I have also built 9 mustangs and get bored really fast. Those who hate it and call it "rice" come across very close minded. They probably all run the same wheels and mods as ever one else. I like to be different and for some that's too much. At the end of the day I built the car for myself to enjoy. Been done now for 3 years and been invited as far as Cali to show it.

And for the caliber covers. Yeah I have shitty calipers . Lol working on that.

Sharpies car is pretty badass. Although it is not a real 03/04 cobra but does sport a Kenny Bell (I believe) His artisistc skills are really good. The car was done free handed and yes there is a coat of clear over the marker. Which was difficult to make work but in the end it turned out good. Baltimore/surrounding area is known for having many artistic talents. Just 1 happen to be a car enthusiast also. So he made his car a tablet. I give him credit for being different and has been asked by many to do the same to their cars instead of the usual ghost flames or tribal which can get boring at times.

That's all that matters, OP! I think it looks great on your car!! I love the details to everything on it! Too bad it's not lowered on H&R Springs, with 18" chrome reps with a full-03/04 body-panel swap with no sharpie on it at all.... then people might like it! :kaboom: :rollseyes

But on a side note, would the detail of the sharpie art come out as "crisp" on let's say, some clear-bra? That way if you get tired of it/bored, you just peel off the clear-bra and voila! Hmm.. :read:

I've seen the Mustang in person quite a few times - for what it is, it's fine, but I couldn't drive that every day.

I just saw the Sharpie Mustang at the AM shoe. I love it. Sets it apart from the rest and just the right amount of Sharpness applied.

If I were going to do something to one of my cars I would air brush something on them. the sharpie crap reminds me of what we did to our notebooks and book covers back in the 60s and 70s only not as well done

but as has been said, your car, your choice and as long as you like it what does it matter what others say about it.

I've seen Trevor's car up close multiple times and it looks great. The pics don't do the car justice. Plus he's a nice guy.

I completely agree with this statement. If these cars were airbrushed it would be a lot cooler, and last a lot longer.
