I have a WinCo. Not sure what that is, but its where our old Costco used to be, and the prices are just as good and you dont need a membership. Our new Costco is pretty sick too, but its on the other end of the city for me, which is like a 10min drive in our podunk town.

I've never been to a Costco but I've shopped at Sams before and didn't really see a need for such large quantities. I only utilized it to buy large packages of solo cups for house parties.

Costco has the best meat, shrimp, everything. I did half my X-mas shopping there and I don't know about the ones in your towns but ours has the best eye candy in tight jeans making the shopping experience very pleasureable as you pay.

Plus, the old lady at the exit as I walk out also draws a happy face on the back of my receipt.:p

I had both, kept the Costco.

Best meat, more up-scale selection than Sams and better prices.

The executive membership is $100 a year, but pays back a percentage of what you spend there, basically free or make money for me (YMMV).

We don't have Sams Clubs in Canada and I basically hate Wally world so that leaves Costco. The only thing I hate about it is I always drop $500 whenever I go. lol.

On a side note I got ID'd buying beer at the Costco in Alpharette, GA. WTF is up with that? I hadn't been asked for ID buying beer since I was 20.

I've been members of both. I prefer costco by far, the store always seems cleaner and more organized. I like the extra year warranty they tack onto laptops and tv's (bought my tv there). We do most of our regular grocery shopping there. I wish their bluray prices where a little more competitive, I tend to get most of those on amazon.com.

I do this as well, I always make money back with it. Costco guarantees that you will or they will pay the difference.
