Could rev up to 9500 actually but he turbo runs out of breath after 8800. It actually does feel good. Better than holding peak power for 0 rpm like my setup.

turbo, they are DEADLY fast, mine weighed 2700lbs on the dot and with 227whp(mild NA build) it was trapping 106-107 back in 05'. needless to say it scared many F bodies who never thought my "honda miata" was that quick.
I've thought about buy another one and doing an IP kit on it.

i am seriously considering one but the c6z is still my top choice and also the 2015 mustang is looking very attractive. one thing is for sure though. with 18k you can get a really nice s2k and another 10k in mods could make it a zr1 killer. hell for 30k total you could terrorize the streets.
There was one with a Turbo LS1 swap on LS1tech a few months ago. I thought about it but knew I'd want to get rid of it after 6 months and figured I'd have trouble selling a niche car like that.
i saw an ls powered s2000 on youtube a while back. as much as i like the ls motors the s2000 is not a car i will put one in. i dont even like the 2jz powered s2000 that are fast as hell. there is something about the little f20 and f22 that i really like. its like a little swiss watch.
Vtec definitely did kick in. Nice build! :thumbsup: These cars are tons of fun to drive. Drove a friend's stock one a while back. Felt like a go kart going around turns. It hugs so nice. Makes my stang feel like the flabby bitch she is. :-D
