btw lowering the compression would be dropping it down to a lower number ratio, by adding a thicker gasket your actually increasing the ratio. ricers
So the car hits peak power at 8500 RPM, and holds it until 8700 RPM. :dw:
I bet that is amazing to hold peak horsepower for all of that 1 second!! :lol1: 200 RPM change at that high of an RPM isn't really much.
Sounds like a fun car though.
Herp Derp
Well hell, you didn't mention that or I wouldn't have said anything. :lol1:Could rev up to 9500 actually but he turbo runs out of breath after 8800. It actually does feel good. Better than holding peak power for 0 rpm like my setup.

Cracked me up!!! lol
owned an S2k for three years. amazing car, best transmission ever bolted together.
turbo, they are DEADLY fast, mine weighed 2700lbs on the dot and with 227whp(mild NA build) it was trapping 106-107 back in 05'. needless to say it scared many F bodies who never thought my "honda miata" was that quick.
I've thought about buy another one and doing an IP kit on it.
There was one with a Turbo LS1 swap on LS1tech a few months ago. I thought about it but knew I'd want to get rid of it after 6 months and figured I'd have trouble selling a niche car like that.
(Hand raised) I want to learn more about compression.
