Rust Concern or Not

The dealer canceled the deal saying the dealership owners friend had a deposit on it the day before me. I saw it the morning It listed so I’m not sure if that’s true. So my deposit is being refunded and I guess on to the next one.

Sounds like they got a stronger offer after you. If you have any signed paperwork from them plus proof of a deposit hitting their account you may want to push the issue a bit.

I think they hosed me. I could press the issue but the car is across the country and gonna cost me 2k to get it where I’m at plus legal if I had to go that route. I just don’t want to go that time and more money route.

It’s a poor/bad way of doing business on the dealer/owner.
