What are some good options for head gaskets for DOHC Modulars? I'd love a set of Cometics, but they might be overkill for this next stage I'm planning. I'm thinking FelPro Perma-torque. Anyone have any experience with these?

I can still find the SVT head gasket kit at a few retailers, but you pay for the head bolts too. I've already got a set of ARP headstuds ready to go, so I'm just in need of the head gaskets.

Using the Ford parts catalogue, it looks like the specified gasket is now just a generic Ford gasket.

Realistically looking at 800-900rwhp on these.

Thanks!

I recently went with Ford Racing. But I’m just running a ported Eaton.
My ProCharger Fox uses Cometic MLS. I’ve used them for my last few Fox builds. Couple coats of copper spray and I’ve never had an issue.

Well hell gentlemen, looks like Factory head gaskets it is. I'll look for the Cometics if I ever build my car into the 1000+hp car she identifies as lol.

Thanks for the recs gents.

I have been using Felpro’s for years on all sorts of engines both at home and commercially, never a problem. Hard to go wrong with OEM or Cometics either.
