$22 a day for 5 years. That's what I need to get this done. Yes the car is bad. I know, I look at it every day. It's bad, but I could worse. It's got some of the terminator parts on it still, the mirrors and side skirts. I just got the wing for it. It took me a few months to find a wing at a good price but I did that. I do realize that yes this could hit a road block that I can't overcome. If that happens you will know. But if every time there was a bad Cobra we just scrapped it then there wouldn't be any more left.

The car has no structural rust. It's all just the surface and can be sanded and repainted.
That stereotypical noise from the door hinges when a door of a crashed car is not there. Surprisingly enough the car from the firewall back is in perfect shape besides some bondo on the passenger side rear quarter panel. It's fixed badly but not bad enough that It can't wait till down the road. If I go to repaint il end up redoing that myself. As far as an engine set up, I'm thinking of building that when I'm in collage as there is a high performance engines class I have to take. That's a cross that bridge when I get to it thing.
Look man, I’ve got to admit I can admire your willingness to save a cobra. I’ve had this debate a few times with members when they build race cars out of a 03 cobra versus using a V6 body, or even a GT as their platform. Would I love to see you save a cobra from its demise? Of course, I think we all deep down would love to see it happen. I think what we all are trying to say is you’re young. You’re supposed to be investing into your future while you’re young, so when you’re older you have something to lean back on. Nobody is telling you what to do, we are simply advising you as we would anyone else. We all joined a forum for one Reason or another. A vast majority joined it for the simple fact we are enthusiasts. We are here to help eachother with projects, and giving advice. If you so choose to continue down this path, I wish you the best. If I can help in anyway let me know. Just don’t lose sight of your future. Cheers bud.

I truly want to see him accomplish his dream, but like you said, @LS WUT, not at the expense of his future. If he takes everyone's advice, he'll accomplish that dream without dinging other more important priorities. A lot of people here have offered up a lot of good advice for him to consider, and that will continue. (y)

Best would be to ask around and find who is about to scrap low mile cobras because they can't find mirrors or wing.

Try to wait for the color that matches your parts so you don't have to paint anything.

Problem solved and a cobra saved. Just a different one.

Good luck. Have fun.

I would keep your goals small and focus on one part of the car per year and then move onto the next.

I admire your willingness to bring the car back from the dead. When I bought my car in 2013 it was a basket case with much love needed throughout so I know the struggle.

Formulate a plan and stick to it or you’ll be overwhelmed. Good luck.

So I finally did a smart thing. No I didn't get rid of the car. I spent money on it, but I got this. I figure that even if its not terminator specific it will have some information I can use.
I also got 2 OEM Air filters for it.

Arguably that might be the way purchase you’ve made so far. I hope the car is covered and away from the elements to preserve whatever is left of the body, and frame. Unsure why the 2 oem air filters though.

I was looking on co-part a few weeks ago and there was a 125k mile terminator with front end damage but car still ran and drove. It only hit $6200 and got relisted I never saw what it sold for but maybe you can buy a higher mileage donor car to save this one.

I figured it's time for an update, believe it or not I have actually done some things. I have been keeping an eye put for some deals.
I got some more parts as of the past few months.
I got lucky and got a stock M112, Center Force clutch, light weight fly wheel, alternator, fuel rails, fuel pump, and AEM wideband for a total of $600
I got a trunk lid for and wing for $150 (light is cracked)
And some taillights with harnesses for $70
Not a bad haul for just over $800

Put in a couple hours to pull the wing off the old decklid and transfer it onto the car. Got one tail light on as well. Thing needs a wash. Did notice a few things that I have questions about. Will post about them later on.

Looks like she had a rough beginning of life, good info to have, all of the parts involved are gone, so the motor was blown up at some point or at least hurt?

On Facebook there is a guy Vicktor L. Askew in Cleveland OH selling parts off a white GT roller. It appears it was terminator swapped at one point. It has a white rear bumper for $400

$300 for front and rear seats "not in the greatest condition"

Depending upon how much of the car was swapped it might provide a lot of good parts, like brakes, etc.
