That turned out well actually, for a deer hit.

Yes, could definitely have been worse. A head on hit at 50 mph+ is catastrophic for a car and can even be dangerous for the driver as the deer can come through the windshield in some cases.

She said she slowed down as she saw it which probably made it hit the front corner instead of the side of the car. It must have then spun and it's rear end hit the rear driver's door.

The hood is a bit crinkled as well. I bet this is $5k easy in damage.

I'm glad she didn't go into labor over it though.

Well based on pics, allstate thinks its $4900. I see they only had $70/hr as the body and paint tech rate. Probably close to double that.

The local allstate rep said the estimates are always low.
