Used to (and may still be?) be a sneaky thing in the street scene. Hide a garden sprayer with some prep of your choice and spray it during the burnout. Like hiding cheater nitrous bottles. Anything for the hustle.

They also have these deployable tire chains. They would swing out like a sweeper arm and sling a piece of chain under the tire for it to grab onto. They used to have them at a lot of truck trade shows. Never seen them in action though.

Have seen these on fire trucks before, but never seen them used.

Man can you imagine being in one of those tin cans and hitting something with no seatbelts? Go headlong into a metal dash with pointy bits or a possibly non-laminated windshield.

Also blows my mind those old luxury cars had a second, separate windshield and cowl.

Imagine sharing a compartment with the help. That's like having a sandwich with regular mustard and not Grey Poupon.



Always thought it would be cool to build a Pierce Arrow hot rod, or just a Pierce Arrow V12 powered one.
