GE made, I believe, 50 2500 HP DC motors for Big Muskie. 25 for use in the machine and 25 for spares. They are the MD828 motor.
We used almost all of these MD828s to power car shredders. Back in the day. All of them blew up. Lol.

Had to replace the engine on a work vehicle and this is how Toyota ships you a new short block, in this tiny little box that weighs like 70lb....lol! Craziest part is, this was cheaper than a low mileage used engine these days!
Terrance and Signature Wheels sells a quality product. Can’t say enough good things about him.
Yep those are very nice! Also very nice and pricy! I think it was James at signature that hooked us up with the Tesla wheels and $350lug nuts. They were on time(maybe even early) and flawless! An absolute max fit and so far zero rub!
