Just a quick question...what are the torque settings for the lug nuts? Doin a brake/rotor swap and can't find the info in my manual.
Thanks!

tight.

Seriously I never torque my lugs to spec. I just make sure to tighten them in a star pattern then I'll lean in to the breaker bar to get them tight. I've never had a problem...even on the road course.

yea, the star pattern is the way to go. i just use my friends air ratchet and tighten up with that. i don't know what the torque setting is set to. no problems here either.

Do not hit them with an impact. First off....you could strip or break a stud and you will be sorry!

Second, you will over tight or not evenly tight them warping the rotors.

I tight mine to 100FTLB every time since God was a Private in the Army. No problems ever.

Years ago, it used to be 85-105 lb/ft.
The other important thing is the order you torque them.

I didn't reference it earlier, but it's Page 204-04-8 in the Factory Service Manual. On Page 204-04-6 it shows the correct tightening sequence pattern, which is a star, like previously mentioned.

+1 on the impact wrench comments. Impact Wrench + Lug Nuts = :nono:
