Quick Help Please

I'm test driving a 2003 SVT Cobra and a light in the instrument cluster flashes intermittently when driving. I can't see a rhyme or reason as to why it does. It is not listed in the owners manual. It is right below the left side odometer and looks like an up arrow. It is yellow. What does this mean? Also, sometimes when put into 1st gear it makes a little bump noise from the rear of the car. Is this normal?

That's an upshift indicator lol.

Both of my 03 & 04's clunk at times going into 1st.

lol yeah a shift light. Mine is turned off and i wish it was still on... i feel like this isnt a serious question though
