I am getting ready to pull the trigger on some new True Forged Chicanes 18x9, 18x11 set up. What tire size can I run? I have H&R springs with IRS. In about 4 to 6 weeks I should have them ready to install! Can't wait!

in the rear, you can do 305's, 315's or (depending on the tire) 335's. personally, i would stick with 315's. what brand of tires are you interested in?

I hope you go with all satin black Chicanes. :D

Ret_Junior went with Toyo 335/30/18 on his new 18x11 Chicanes and just needed the IRS bolt and the fenders rolled by me.

Actually mine will be different from Vader. I am not going to hate on Vader anymore. I like getting a rise out of him over nothing. It was funny but over with.

I like the BFGooddrich's style tires I have now. KDW's is what I have on the car now. I guess 315's will be fine without rubbing?

They don't make KDW's in 315's and I would hope you'd be getting a better gripping tire then those, because at your power level you'll be doing a lot of spinning.

After looking at tire sizes and sidewall height. I decided to go with a set of Toyo R888's in size front 275-35-18 rear 305-35-18. The 315's have a shorter sidewall than the 275's so I didn't want the front sidewall to be bigger than the rear. This is the reason for the 305's in the back and I should have no rubbing issues.

From what I understand from my research (I'm making the same purchase), the 305/35 and 315/30 tires are going to have the same specs, I think this is due to the width of the tire being different.

Fwiw, I'm going to run the following setup with 3 piece chicanes.

18x9 big brake offset
275/35/18 bfg kdw II

18x10.5 fender flush, 3.5" lip
315/30/18 bfg kdw II

Good luck with the new TF wheels....you'll love them! ... I have the 18x9 & 18x11 on both Cobra's...run 275's up front, 305's out back

305's on an 11" wheel will look HUGE. My 305's on an 11" wheel vs. my buddies 315's on an 10.5" wheel measure a 1/2" wider. My two cents would be a 10.5" rear with 305's all day.

275/35/18s for the 9 wide for the 11 not 100% sure, 315's or 335?'s my 295 on 10 wide are perfect and a 305 is not much wider so that would be to narrow to me
