Congratulations! So that time slip was with what mods? I read your post above but not sure if you've implemented all of the mods you were planning. Did you upgrade your blower port (Stage 5) to a Stage 8? If you haven't, save your money and keep the Stage 5 until you're ready to upgrade to a VMS/Whipple/KB. JMO.

here is my mod list (as far as i know/discovered/added)

Stiegemeier Stage V Accufab Single Blade TB and Plenum with 2.76 pulley BBk CAI (hate it)
5.0 stroker shortblock 10lbs crank pulley
BBK Longtube Headers Mac Prochamber and Catback 2.5'
KB Boost a Pump wire upgrade 60lbs injectors
Front susp. UPR Kmember UPR Coilovers (hate'em too) QA1 adj struts
Rear susp. SRA HPM doble adj uppers and lowers (pinion angle unknown) Strange 10 way adj shocks 3.55 on 26 ET Drags
Tuned by a local guy (not happy either)

Future Plans:
JLT high boost CAI
new Idlers
take it to MVP at San Antonio for tunning

Great turnaround on that car! White can sure clean up nice. I like it.

a little update (again)

I made some new mods to my car, removed the MAC mufflers in favor of a pair of magnapacks (great decision) new Metco Idlers and made the "intellegent" mistake of a lifetime, replaced the BBK CAI and installed a JLT RAI, why a mistake? well after the install i went and made some pulls (no retune) the aftermath was a light knocking sound after a nose dive, so as you can guess knocking sounds are not a good sign... SMH
The next morning I start my Cobra to go to work and an awful knocking sound makes me shut it down quickly, next step, take it to a buddys shop for surgery, engine is taken out and torn apart no damage to crank no damage to rods just 4 pistons got damaged so after some days of thinking what to do another friend offered me a stock Cobra shortblock with probe .20 pistons 0 miles and 500 bucks for my damaged stroker, i said, what the hell lets do this, so now i'm back on stock cubes, instantly felt the loss of torque but now i can get some traction on the street, made some pulls and after some data log my fuel pressure starts to drop in 4th at 4300rpms so i just upgraded to FGT pumps and switched my 3.55s in favor of 3.73s

Tomorrow I'm going to the getto local track for some test and tune but next friday i'll take it to edinburg race track for some real numbers

Went to the track and after the first pull testing the Ford GT pumps my serpentine belt almost disappeared fml so no ETs for me

There's a local car show in like 3 weeks so time for some new paint, get rid of the faded fender and align the hood sideskirts and bumpers

moar pics! i wanted to take a photo shoot but between work new tune and new clutch haven't had the time, car pulls like a mofo it feels stronger than the previous combo (stroker), the loss of torque is compensated with top end power, i was looking at 15lbs of boost with the stroker, now with the stock stroke i'm looking at 18lbs, eaton screams and pulls strong!
