I recently just purchased a 03 cobra with quite a few mods, and my autometer water temp gauge does'nt seem to be working. The lights work in it so its getting power. It is an electrical gauge so, does anyone know where the sending unit is located or have a suggestion? Its a Lunar series gauge, but the stock gauge in the cluster still works fine.

You are going to have to follow the wire to KNOW.
Crossover tube have a sender ready burp plug?
Or maybe down on the side of the block.

Most put the sending unit in the rear of the block, driver side. If it`s not there, look by the crossover like Jimmy mentioned. Even though it lights up(seperate circuit) it may still not have power to drive the gauge, so check those wires too.
