Other than the Amazon branded stuff I think Prime day isn't the big deal it's made out to be.

I agree. I looked at all of the offerings, and the best deals were the Amazon branded stuff. Unfortunately, I already have 3 of the Echos at home, and one Echo Dot. So I couldn't take advantage of any Echo deals.
