I was just wondering today where you've been.
Yeah I have been waiting for my friend to finish his 97 SS so we can hit the track. It should be done in time for the May 10th streets event.

Speaking of the side exhaust, how are they routed around your subframe connectors?
The pipes are running under the end part of the subframe. It scrapes occasionally.

BACK FROM THE DEAD THREAD! whats new with this car?!?!?! im really interested in open track racing. I'd really like to learn more about it and when/where i can participate. This thread gave me some insight, but i'd def. like to know more. And i wanna see whats new with this track car.
You can go to socalterminators.com, that's one of the sites where some of the local guys post about track events in socal.
A) Glad you are interested in the hobby (addiction)
B) You need nothing more than an open attitude, SA2005 or newer helmet, synthetic DOT4 brake fluid, and good brake pads to go run your first 2-3 events. Let the car tell you when to upgrade something.
