2001 Covert, started life as a Hertz Rental car in Orlando, FL (was a V6). Now has 2004 Mach 1 (auto) drivetrain and wiring, FRPP's Bullitt suspension package, Cobra brakes, and 01 Cobra interior. Chromed the Mach 1 wheels and had centers powercoated chassis black.

So I have decided against lowering the front end of my car with the spring clamps. Doesn't seem like the best idea. So instead, I am going to cut a coil in the front. The ride quality won't be very good, but I don't race and drive fast in general. It's just my daily driver.

^^deff the best idea instead of getting a termi. One day I hope to do a termi swap and a kenne bell

Why do you say it's better?? Just curious lol. I will already have my gt just the way I want it exterior wise. So doing a swap would be better for that reason for sure. I think in the end I would be spending exactly the same doing the swap, as I would if I sold my gt and bought a terminator with the rest of my money.

Sounded like a sheer opinion based statement. In my opinion there is nothin wrong with a swapped car as long as it is not badged inaccurately! Like most people I absolutely love the drive train! But unlike most people I would prefer a different body setup. For instance, my dream body is 99/01 cobra bumper 03/04 mirrors and side skirts, 99-04 rear bumper, and either no wing or a saleen wing. I love a Franken-car I know I know lol I guess what I'm saying is there's ups and downs to both options. On one hand you have the all mighty Cobra and vin but with the latter you would have a car that there would be no apprehension to change body panels or custom paint or anything like you would with a more "special" car such as the authentic cobra.
