sorry for double posting but do you guys know an estimated price on how much it would cost to convert say a 88-90 lx to 5 lug so that it could actually fit these saleens?....

I have converted two foxes to 5-lug, I purchased everything on ebay here's a quick price list for a budget install

94-95 spindles/Calipers/Rotors - $180-220 ebay
fox length 5-lug axles 29 5/32 - $75-100 ebay
rear ranger drums 9inch - $30-50-pepboys
pads-$20+ pepboys

you will be able to run saleens with that setup

Need more 18" wheels on fox bodys
I just posted a couple on this thread. They are 18 x 9 Cobra replicas (03/04)
They have 5.95 BS. I kept the rear stock 93 Cobra backspacing using 94 GT axles and I used 93 GT/LX backspacing up front, but bought 94/95 spindles, hubs, and used 13" rotors up front. (10th anniversary 03 Cobra brakes) See link below for pictures

Sorry for the large pic, but this is my 93 (non-cobra :()w/ 5 lug swap. 18x9s all the way around, in this pic w/ Eibachs (now bilstein coilovers) and no rolling of the fenders at all:

BTW - shoot me a PM if you are trying to fit authentic Saleens on. There are several things you will want to know about the offsets. If you go with replicas, the offset for all are 24mm. Good luck.

93 sssSVT what is the lip width on your wheels? It looks huge! The wheels I just ordered have a 3" rear and 2" front.

93 sssSVT...
You have a similar set up to my car, engine wise. That thing looks SICK on the picture/sig. Same color as mine too! :)
How much boost are you pushing to achieve the 515 rwhp? (I see its being tuned still) But that is a nice HP #'s so far.
My car is only pushing 6-7 #s of boost good for 430's to the wheels. Same intake as yours, heads, but from a crap Powerdyne blower (the belt driven one). And from a 331 though.
I was planning on swapping out the blower and getting either a Vortech or a P1SC. Im still debating it though. This has become my daily driver, so with just 400+ horsepower on city streets is way to much, lol. Its definately fun though.

What are the mods you have done to the engine? If you dont mind me asking.

And sorry to have hijacked the thread

These are the wheels I ordered yesterday. Stern is the name brand. Just like Saleen used back in 92 for there 3 piece 5 spokes. Im told the wheels weigh 26 and 28lbs. not too bad for a 18" rim. Im hoping to make this Cobra stand out from the rest.

93sssSVT how big are your tires? My rims are 8.5 and 9.5 and I ordered Toyo T1Rs in 245/40 and 275/35. Also do you know the offset of your rims?
