Got some jacks, finally. View attachment 1788157View attachment 1788158

I got a quickjack a while back, costco often has a sale on the smallest of the 3. It was just a tad bit too short to fit my M5 on due to where BMW placed the lift blocks, had I known that I would have gone for the next largest size.

Great product though, some days I consider getting another one to keep at home for detailing purposes. I sold mine to a friend a few years ago who uses it constantly, was a total game changer for him working on his cars

Approximate price? I'm don't feel like looking them up. Thanks
brad - the 7k lb unit that would lift your truck at costco is $1,500 right now, the metal risers youd probably want are another $220. You could always try it with the rubber block and see if that gets what you need. Sometimes they have sales on the kit but seems like prices just keep creeping up like everything else

DO NOT STACK THEIR RUBBER BLOCKS! It says it in the instruction manual but there's a video of some idiot doing it and was lucky not to really **** up his truck.

Just finished up the 90 7 up vert. I couldn't capture the best pictures inside with such a dark paint color.

Looks great Brady. The sunlight will really show the richness of that deep green.
That's a manual, isn't it?

Now you need an S550 vert.

If that side shot is representative of the rest of the vehicle, I think it turned out awesome! Nice work and even better patience. lol

@dads01dream Here are the products that I used.

Step 1: Wash the car. I did this prior to winter storage, so I just had to get the dust off.

Step 2: Clay bar the car to remove contaminates from the paint. I also used a tar remover.

Step 3: Cutting compound with lake country orange cutting pad.

Step 4: Polishing compound with lake country white pads.

Step 5: Apply paint sealant with lake country black finishing pad.

I used carpro eraser to wipe off the panels after each step. It helps remove compound residue and acts as a anti static. Works awesome and smells good.

I used a Porter Cable 7424XP dual action polisher.

Total time was about 15 hours.

@Lambeau thanks . Unfortunately it's an automatic because the wife was suppose to drive it....

@TerminatoRS thanks I appreciate it! Patience is definitely something I'm normally not good at .

I was told by a reliable source the car probably needed a respray.

Looks good.

Lol what?

I mean I'm a perfectionist, so I personally would like to have it repainted one day....

Yeah it looks okay until I put a light on it. Very neglected, and stuff I won't be able to fix without a respray.

I'm guessing I'll have 10-15 hours. Depends how well I remove these scratches.

Maybe I exaggerated the quote from source a little bit.

I can’t do the perfectionist stuff. Nothing would ever get accomplished and it’d immediately become not perfect the first time I drove it.

You clearly do good work
