What does everyone use to keep the heat extractor and the front spoiler lip looking so black and glossy looking?
Before I switched to a TF Heat Extractor and CF Splitter, Adam's VRT worked well for me.

That Adam's VRT product worked really well on your heat extractor, Norton. Is it the photo, or does the VRT give a satin finish? Whatever it is, I like it.

Thanks! VRT worked well on the OEM parts, but the pics are of the "upgraded" TrueForged Extractor (which I had done in a satin finish to match the stripes) and Tru-Fiber Carbon Fiber Splitter. Apologies for any confusion!

I personally love the base wheels more than the upgrade wheels. My car just wouldn’t look the same with those.
Agreed. I liked them so much I bought 2 base sets to make a set of 20” all around with the rears widened to 11”.
But I needed the darker SVTPP finish for my Sterling Grey Metallic beast.

I always thought the base wheel to be the better looking of the 2, & hands down from a cleaning standpoint..................( 09/05/2013 )

Those are so nice on your GT-500. And the finish really accentuates your gray paint.

Honestly...I do not like the PP wheels. Hated cleaning them & didn't like the 19'' & 20'' sizes. Sold my PP wheelsView attachment 1736706View attachment 1736707 - got a polished set & black set of Shelby Venice wheels. 20'' & 20"...wider too. Waaaay easier to keep clean!

I hate black wheels and mesh style wheels. LI like what you have going on there

To my eye, a slightly darker color would have provided more contrast, like post # 1645 showed..

I was trying to get a good picture in the sun. The SVTPP wheel finish is such a perfect color to me! I love the color shifting effect it gives. Interesting point but base wheels actually are the same paint process but the SVTPP gets a few (he said 2-3) extra coats of the dark base before the matte clear.
All ‘13-14 wheels were done at Helios Coatings near Cleveland OH.

just my uneducated opinion, the SVTPP Rims were ok but I thought they only matched the dark gray/silver or black color cars. Seemed not to match the lighter colored cars as well as the base rims do.

Did I mention they were a pita to clean, lol.
