+1 4.30's are probably killing you mpg wise. what rpm are you on the highway?

keep the cobra and buy a beater with a 4 banger to be a dd and only drive the cobra when you want to. thats what im about to do because i just cant bring myself to sell it.

+123 or whatever number we are on. For mpg and fun factor it's up there. The reliability of the VWs is questionable at best or wallet draining at worst; they do have some wonderfully designed interiors though :beer:

I ended up getting a Sky turbo for driving around to work. 260hp, 260tq, 29xx pounds. GM is releasing a ECM tune to put it at 290/310 and still maintain the 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. I'm getting between 37 and 41 mpg on the highway and high 20s in town. My combined mpg average is 34mpg. The handling is awesome, it runs with the STI in the SCCA classes and is capable of 13 second 1/4s stock.
