I had the A-pillar pod setup and prefered it aesthetically. IMO the main advantage of the steering column gauge setup is it's easier to read straight on vs. having to look to the left to read the A-pillar gauges. A lot of guys do prefer the steering column setup and I except you'll soon read a number of positive reasons for the steering column setup.

Had the steering pod, wasn't a fan. Always preferred pillar gauges. There more in line with line of sight. For me at least.

I like the autometer steering pod for my aeroforce. Paint matched with LMR interior rattle can and the 'upgraded' brushed aluminum bezel from lethal. Looks good and is plenty ergonomic. Im 6ft and it's an easy glance down.

Sos A pillar if you need more and can get them to make you one. Not crazy about how the other pillar pods on the market look.

I prefer the look of the dual gauge instrument cluster bezel. I like to keep things looking clean and organized. The dual gauge bezel allows the dual aeroforce gauges to blend in with the other gauges. Almost like they belong there.

SOS a pillar with Aeroforce gauges

Good luck finding a SOS gauge pod. They stopped making them in November of last year. I know because I just tried to have my a Pilar modified by them.

I have the steering pod on mine and my buddy who I bought the car from now has pillar pods. He is not a fan and wants to switch back to a steering pod. Could just be the one he has but he mentioned it just gets in his way at times.

I have wideband, boost and oil pressure the column and I also have the steering pod that I never installed. I've debated about putting my wideband in the steering column because it's easier to look at while I'm at the track but I just haven't gotten around to it.

Not sure I get the hype on the SOS Pods. They look good, but not much different then a typical pillar mount.

There is also the dash mount options on the SN95/NE Cars.

The sos a pillar look more like a factory piece. Not a cheap looking Autometer pod. There is a reason why I see WTB posts frequently for sos pods on Facebook and other car forums.

Comparing them to an Autometer is apples to oranges.

I've had them both.

The side benefit of the boost gauge is....it also indicates vacuum at idle. That can be useful to monitor, especially as these cars are super sensitive to vacuum leaks

SOS pods hold my wide band and FP gauges, my steering dual pods hold my twin Aeroforce gauges.
