If you're serious about learing the ins and outs of ps. Take a class. That being said there is much to be learned by not using it. A few shots from the philly auto show.

I loved this thread. With so many people on this forum buying DSLR cameras I thought I would bring it back to life. There are some VERY good pictures in here.

Well here is another bump for this thread. I like to use a cars reflection to capture an image. I like the results I have had over the years. It is like my personal trademark when taking photos. I am just an novice and nowhere close to a pro yet.

Here's several from the past couple of months... the stunt photos are of BillD and Destiny of Road Hazards Stunt Team. The girls and bikes are of 2wheelchics.com and a some of the others are just randoms. Enjoy! C/C is always welcome.

An older photo but a favorite... and it could be sharper.

Jadito, hope you don't mind:

I took your last photo and made some changes. before:

cropped.jpg

After:

retouched.jpg

It was too cluttered with people and lightpoles coming out of the car, so I took them out. I also adjusted the saturation, hue and input/output levels. Now you'll notice that the background is pretty plain so in the future you might want to consider some clean backdrop like a building, water, etc..

im a novice at photoshop, everything i know how to do i've taught myself..but im still perplexed on how to make something dissapear, and put the background behind it like you did with the people building and poles......
