My current wheels are kinda my "play wheels" I'll eventually be getting set of 18" 10ths, but I'm stuck with these for awhile. Been rockin' the black for awhile and I think I want to change it up. I've always been a fan of the silver '99 wheels, so I'm thinking maybe painting the wheels silver. Just not sure how they will look PAINTED silver, but I can't imagine it will be all bad since they are machined stock.

Any thoughts or pictures would be awesome! Not just of a silver wheel, but no black wheels please.

Looks like I can't help you out ;-)

I'm curious to see something different as well. I'm curious to see what the silver would look like. I don't really know what other color choices there are besides gunmetal.

I'm thinking of going with silver with a polished lip. I actually came up with this in my humanities glass tonight :rolling:

This is probably what a silver wheel will look close to. This was a set of 18's I was sanding down a couple years ago.

Basic idea of what it will look like, but with A LOT smaller polished lip. It should be pretty subtle. Just to give you an idea of the contrast.

I think the silver idea would be cool. I'd pass on the polished lip though. Maybe a red lip on the silver would be cool??

I'd be curious as well, I personally love the finish on the 10th anniversary wheels with the polished lip. If I would do anything I would go black. The look of your car in your sig is badass though!

I loved my 10ths when I had them on my last car. I think I've decided to skip the polished lip for now and just go silver. The change in color should be pretty quick....i just need to get some time. Hopefully in the next couple weeks or so.
