I'm on the search for rims and can't seem to find any black cobra verts with chrome Godspeed omegas. I've always liked those rims and I think I'm leaning towards them. So if anybody can help me out It would be great! Post them up please!

I'm in the same boat as you. I went ahead and splurged on black FR500s cause my wheels at the time were crap but now I'm really interested in the Godspeed Omega deep dish wheels and CCWs

Sadly, if you want to go "different" you're going to have to spend some serious $$.

Well there is also choices like xxr and other more "tuner" wheels that don't look bad at all that are fair prices also. I'm just not too fond of paying 3k + for a pair of wheels. Maybe one day though lol

I agree 100%! Love the expensive wheels....I jut can't justify spending that kind of money

I do love those wheels! How much were they?

When I got curious and sent a request they replied with something ridiculous. I don't remember the exact price but I want to say it was approaching 6k without tires.

Yeah, not sure I'm going to spend 6k on just wheels for a mustang but they are nice looking.

I have the 18" AFS reps. I traded some guy machined 17" wheels painted black for these wheels. They were polished when I got them, and I painted them in my buddies paint booth. I've only seen 2 other cars on this site alone with black 18" reps, so even though it was the cheap way out, I feel like they are rare?

Sadly as everyone has said to stand out with nice and one off wheels you need to drop serious coin. For me, power mods > wheels, so for now mine do me just fine.

That was another thing I was looking into was just buying deep dish reps and paint them all black and do some kind of colored lip like grabber blueish or the normal red but then I realized I'd still be spending close to 800 bucks just for two rims and tires when I can spend a few more bucks and have something nice and weighs less than stock(apparently).

They were between 4-5k... And yeah agreed. Performance first. But they were the finishing touch as the motor and engine bay, with a KB was already done and making as much power as i wanted... And the suspension was completed as well with coil overs, tubular front end and a built IRS... So the wheels were the finishing touch, and the last pc of the car for me.
