I would like to get away from sling as even on Roku it can be a little buggy but when I checked a few months ago Hulu and Youtube were both missing a couple channels the wife watches so sling it is for now
That's good that a cloud based DVR option is available, even if it's only 20 hours. There will likely be better DVR options coming soon. Have you had any issues with HD channels/content not always playing in HD? That's honestly my main concern with Internet streaming options.IMO any bugs are far outweighed by the expensive price tag for DTV on a few television sets in a home. My cable internet is quite fast (triple digits) so the only bugs I have encountered would be the channel changing on its own back to a previous channel and it has done that a few times. For $10/month I can easily look past it. Actually Bob, it does have DVR. Yes it is cloud based 20 hr DVR but it is DVR. Maybe I'll try it tonight and see if it works better than a rudimentary version. Something trivial I enjoy is how the channels are in alphabetical order rather than numerical!
Just opened Terrarium and a notice popped up. It will be gone for good at the end of September. Damnit! Now I need to find another app. I really liked Terrarium.

Yep, same here, it got nuked. The other apps that are similar all suck by comparison.
I just installed Kodi. PITA in comparison.

Terrarium is no more. Totally shut down.
Good night sweet prince.

I've been thinking about cutting the coord with Comcast. DirectTV Now looks like a solid choice, in terms of package options and pricing. I have 3 little girls, so cartoons is a must. No Discovery Channel or History channel, forgot which, was a deal break for me with Sling. Anyone using or have any comments on DirectTV Now?
The DTV Now app sucks ass. I would look into PS VUE, don’t have to own a PlayStation either, it’s available on multiple streaming devices.
DVR and On Demand any good?
