I may have to try this, thanks
You wont regret it.
I may have to try this, thanks
Guys,
Just wanted to share with you that when I did my clutch swap a few thousand miles back I was on the fence about my Tranny fluid.
I almost went with the Stock Mercon and even thought about Redline. After some research, thanks to SVTperformance, I decided to go with
Pennzoil Synchromesh. The tranny is so much smoother when I'm rowing gears. Can't wait for summertime at the track:rockon:
Good stuff. BTW, I picked it up at Advance Auto Parts...
Did you add any friction modifier?
I have looked at every Advance Auto and can't find it anywhere around me. I was hoping to do this today.
Is this what you guys are talking about:
Synchromesh Manual Transmission Fluid (32 oz.) by Pennzoil - Part 3501 - Advance Auto Parts
Reason I ask is this stuff looks like rear end gear oil.

No issues here over the last few months. Never had a warranty with my car so I just go by my own research. There are many people running synchromesh and I"m glad I changed to this...Subscribing for more details
Same here with no warranty on the car just dont want to mess anything up. I guess I will give it a try, like I said in my last post I have a case on the way to my house now.... Do I need to use any type of friction modifier or just the syncromesh ?
I use just Synchromesh. Interesting though. I do recall many people using synchromesh in other T-56s that are in the corvettes and vipers?
Looking for more input on this matter for your sake...
