Painting valve covers

pretty easy and I'm a bad painter despite painting clowns (part of my therapy). cleaned with acetone, 1 light primer coat, 4 costs of enamel, and sanded away the boogers in between. used a small paint brush with the acetone to clean inside the letters and stripes (surprisingly dirty). much harder if you don't like the stock textured look.

I just noticed that too. I used to sublet my basement. pretty rustic. shower consisted of a baby pool, garden hose, and a pet sprayer.

I like how it turned out (too much silver/gray to begin with) and it kept me busy this cold weekend for 5 bucks. engine dress up is a perfectly fine outlet for cabin fever. if you **** anything up, just close the hood.
