I have been looking to replace my alternator on my '98 Cobra. (wanted to post in the Termi forum just to see if anyone had any input as well) The Original lasted long and the Ford reman lasted only about 3 years.

I am looking at PA Performance as they are not remans, but brand new units. Any experiences with them, bad or good?

Any info on other aftermarket units or is everyone pretty much going with the Ford remans? Thanks in advance.

Spend the money on the start and charge. I had a customer go through 3 alternators from PA within weeks.

I had a PA and it went out on me within a few months. I was also mis-informed on the lower I had in a trade so the 3.2 pulley was not big enough. So that may have been the problem. I just went with a napa alternator and have not had any issues been about a year and the car has sat twice for at least 2 months at a time though...
