Yep. Electric motor coupled directly to driveshaft.
Best thing about that set up is you can't hear the rear end gears whine over the electric motor.
If someone can move this to the appropriate section, I would appreciate it. I tried to do so myself, and haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks

the funny thing is most likely our children will grow up modding electric cars.
