OK I really need some help. I am at a loss. Pulley/belt question..

Belt setup is
2.75 RR
Larger Alt pulley (not sure exact size, Hermann put it on)
4 lb Metco lower.
100mm Billetflow idler

When we hooked up a boost guage I would hit 18psi, but it would drop to below 12 by the time I came near the redline. (beltslip? I think so)

Problem is Hermann put on a 810 Gates and its slipping bad(I believe & so does Rick). Tried to put on a 796 Gates. Would not fit.

Tried a 805 Dayco and that would not fit either. To small.

So what is next? Do I need the billetflow tensioner? :whine:

It has been suggested by some to cut the tab off the tensioner to give you more throw...

getting a RR tensioner will help with belt adjustment..problem is we are out of stock and so is RR..they should be back in production soon
