Tig welded on the inside. Keep in mind I'm cheap! Turned a female strait down on a lathe then turned 1 end down to 1". Drilled pan 1". Russel (got the Russell stuff cheap too) -10 to 1/2" NPT. Don't have an wrenches yet.

Had a few other reasons for dropping the K and pan also. UPR motor mounts went in as well.

I finished up my tapping. Went to Harbor Freight and picked up a 28 piece punch set for $12. It only went up to 1/2" but I needed a 9/16 so I greased up the drill bit, put a magnet at the bottom of the pan and drilled the last little bit that I needed. Once threaded I used liquid thread sealer and ultra black gasket maker to seal around it. Filled up with cheap oil and drained it out to make sure I picked up any shavings left behind. So far so good its not leaking!

Another question for you guys...

What hp ranged does that stock MAF max out?
