New York police slam videos showing officers pelted with objects, drenched with water: 'reprehensible'
I saw this video this morning and got sick to my stomach. People (and I use the term very loosely) in Harlem outright abusing police, drenching them with buckets of water and mocking them as they were making an arrest.
The Police Benevolent Association (PBA) of the City of New York released a statement on the “'Water Bucket' Attacks on Police Officers” putting the blame on lawmakers.
PBA president Patrick Lynch said, “Our anti-cop lawmakers have gotten their wish: the NYPD is now frozen.”
He added that the “attacks” were “the end result of the torrent of bad policies and anti-police rhetoric that has been streaming out of City Hall and Albany for years now.”
Lynch said, “We are approaching the point of no return.”
How much worse can it get? Oh, and nothing about this so far has shown up in the news except on Fox.
