Hmmm, never saw those. We just used the nylon straps.That looked like a bubba rope or comparable.
It’s an elastic tow rope and you really do just hammer down. I’ve pulled out many trucks buried in sand to the frame without issue.
Now, I haven’t tried one stuck in muck like that before.

Yeah, a good snatch strap works like that. The problem they had there was, they attached at the wrong point (obviously). They needed 2 more rigs on either side to put tension on the stuck rig. Then give it a few bounces instead of pouring the coal to it like he did.

I love my M118 match stuff, but I use M80 for training and plinking. I still have a few thousand rounds of M80. My AR10s love it.
My 458 socom is a lot of fun to shoot, but even reloading it's still costing me 2 bucks a round. I just wish it had more than 250 yards effective range. Since 50 cal stuff is unlawful in NJ now, I have to settle for 458 until I move back out of this liberal shithole.
