The Hispanic culture likes animal themed blankets. So grabbing a random Mexican blanket will likely involve and animal themed design and most likely a tiger.

When I think of Mexican blanket I think of one of those handmade striped blankets that look like the same material as a "drug rug" (remember those?)
Ya I’d be guilty and a terrible brown person if I denied owning a tiger blanket and a sarape blanket... I found the joke numerous, but I also got it immediately. It’s one of those jokes where if you have to explain it, it’s not as funny.. butters..
