I like that Gremlin!

This was the only decent looking Gremlin back in the day. 1972 Gremlin X with a 304 motor. You could get a 304 engine with decent performance. Back in '73, I owned a '71 Duster 340 (headers, Mallory ignition, Edelbrock intake manifold & Holly 650 double-pumper). So for a short spell this local guy who was driving a '72 Gremlin X (304) would try to challenge me on a main road once or twice a week around 7 AM on my way to work. I finally had enough and there was no traffic one morning on the road except for the two of us. We're side by side at the light and when it hit green, I was gone. Wasn't long at all and I was car lengths ahead of him. Never saw the guy after that. LOL.
