Was just watching weather from Tupelo MS, don't hear these words often:
Catastrophic damage potential
Debris radar signature 2 miles wide
Possible F5 on ground near Amory MS

Said this tornado probably had. been on the ground for an over 20 minutes

Any of our people in that area?
Hope you're not effected

NE Mississippi-Apologies

A mile wide wedge hit Rolling Fork, MS and Silver City. The damage is catastrophic and numerous fatalities being reported.

From the Ohio Storm Chasers on fb. You can see multiple vortices on this tornado.

Born and raised Brockton. Living in Naples.
I pray for no hurricanes this season but it’s out of my control. Almost everything in Naples is back to pre Ian except for my beloved pier which they haven’t even started demo on and the snack bar at Laudermilk beach.

I enjoy the pier for the sloot watching and the fishing and ocean life and the night walks. The new plans look incredible when it’s finally finished and I enjoy getting food at the snack bar on the beach with my wife and sitting at the picnic tables and just chilling.

I’d definitely prefer a hurricane to a tornado.
