So did he break out the marshmallows. Sorry had to.

I bet you could practically just feel the heat at 20 feet from it.

He’s a younger, less experienced kid so he was super nervous lol. No marshmallows but that’s an awesome idea. I’m gonna start carrying s’more stuff.

Do you guys still carry those sticks you shove up against the bearing to check for heat?

I’ve never seen a glowing bearing, but I try to avoid working at night, or early morning, or when it’s cloudy…

19 days after the East Palestine train derailment disaster that occurred on 2/3/23.

2/22/23: Yesterday in East Palestine. T$ bought lunch for the Fire Department and met with community leaders:

Tucker Carlson Tonight film 17 days after the disaster, showing East Palestine Pete still refusing to go there. He refuses to talk about it. He's on personal time.

FWIW: A good friend is a highly educated, seasoned scientist. He has not been there. Asked him for his .02 about this sheen on the water:

"On the Palestine creek stuff, my guess is that it’s a mono layer of immiscible (Immiscibility is the property where two substances are not capable of combining to form a homogeneous mixture) organic residue from the vinyl chloride or other organics contained in the tanker cars. The rainbow colors result from the way the thin film diffracts light."

it's interesting to compare this to the BP oil spill. the rail industry is about as corrupt as the public unions are. in fact, when they were running rails in the 1800s, the rail companies had more power than states rights because they could put a rail anywhere they wanted. so when you see government covering it up, its probably because the government is to blame for this.

I have been telling my wife that it is crazy the difference in coverage and culpability. That company was a pariah for quite some time and seemed to be throwing money everywhere.

Anyone watch that new movie on Netflix called White Noise with Adam Driver? It's kind of funny but really weird and out there also, but the timing of it is really peculiar. Part of the movie is about a trucker that runs through a crossing hitting a train carrying a hazardous load that ignites and it releases a cloud plume that forces nearby residents to evacuate. It's set in the 80s in a Midwest college town.

Grey ash falling from the sky, no big deal. I think “East Palestine Ash” is going to be a color choice for the 2024 Dark Horse.
