I wonder how much faster the auto cars would have been? That's impressive that they were all manual cars, definitely had the driver mod working in there favor.

The good news, and the great news. The good news is that Ford has done an outstanding job with the new 5.0 and was quick to prove that some bolt ons can produce a 10 second street/strip winner.
The GREAT news is that it was done without the benefits of the latest in TVS technology. (Ok, it's great news for VMP Tuning and Superchargers and for everyone that knows what GEN II means.)

Excellent break-down Steve. I really find it impressive the way the cars squatted and hooked up. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers the shops will be running. I'd love to see 9's next week in Bowling Green, but that's probably a bit too soon.
