Picked up some 18 staggered black chrome Saleens and Toyo R888 (which is by far the best tire I have ever used and hooks better then my hoosiers or mickeys did on the street.

Didn't change anything with my set up. I planned on putting my 8 rib conversion on and 20psi pulley. Until I saw how much power I picked up on my 110 race gas tune.

Believe it or not still a 6 rib set up at 15-16psi and managed to crank out 625hp and 508ft/lbs with 21 degrees of timing

Picked up 60 hp and 20 ft/lbs after 4000 RPM. and the car is faster on my 18s now then it was on my 15" pro star set up. This car just works and I'm extremely happy

Nice looking car.
15+psi 6-rib set up and no belt slip

I think people just hear belt slip issues after 10 psi and assume they need manual tensioner(s), 8 rib set ups ect.

Ya gotta try it before u buy it. I have a stock 6 rib set up, stock tensioner, local auto store belt, and a RR Pulley and it sees 16-16.5psi at 7200 with no belt slip across the graph ect..

I might even try a 6 rib 3.0 pulley before I put my 8 rib kit on

That's a Big HP for 15 psi, do you have higher compression, cams, head work?
I still have the stock 6 rib/tensioner with the Gates 112.89 belt with no belt slip at 13psi, no plans converting to 8.

Nice man! I like the new wheels and the new #'s

What size Toyo did you put in back, 315/30/18 or 305/35/18? I'm shopping for new rear tires.. It's a 18x10 wheel right?

9.3:1 compression. .020 over block, stock heads and cams, P&P short runner intake. Stock 6 rib pulleys with a 3.20" RR blower pulley and 108-1/8th gates belt

Thanks! 305/30/18 and it's stretched a little to fit on a 10" rim. Ordered from tiresdirect.net they have them in stock and there wharehouse is 25 mins from me in the burbs of Chicago. They have the best price on these tires hands down.

That's awesome man congrats!! I forget your blower setup but is some really good power for the boost, and timing. Just adding timing helps these cars tremendously!!

Just curious what gears do you have? Also how short of a short running intake?

4.10s.

By P&P short runner I meant

Ported and polished "nazman" short runner intake manifold.

He is a member on here and I believe has his own site now ud have to ask him for more details

ahh gotcha. I don't think Nazman is around anymore though. I'd love to see the graph if you have it.

The graph I have a pic of was my second pull. It was 20 degrees of timing and made 616/495.

I'll have to get a pic of the final pull this weekend when I go back.
