Updated, Post #33 10/18/18
Had been tossing around the idea going '13-'14 Shelby for awhile. I still wasn't sure I wanted to drop $45-$50k down for a weekend / show car. And then I would still have to mod it in some way shape or form, more $$$.
In July, I got a call from a friend who located this car. I drove 6 hours one way to check it out.
After a compression check, full inspection, clean tittle and carfax, I still tried to discredit buying it and couldn't.
The car is a 2011 Kona Blue w/Performance Pack option
Bone Stock, except for the JLT catch cans. No evidence of being modded and then returned back to stock.
No dings, dents, micro marring in the paint or faded and cracked trim pieces.
52,000 miles.
Kona Blue in person is just stunning. It is one of those colors that I think looks 100% better with no stripes. It's not a 13/14, but at the price will still do what I want it to do for a fraction of newer car cost. I also prefer the gearing in the '11-'12s over the '13/'14
My power goals are probably conservative to most, but I am just looking for a reliable 650rwhp / 600rwtq on the street. I may surpass that goal by a little.
All of my parts are finally here so I can move forward. I'll keep this thread updated as I progress in the next 3 weeks with the car.
These are pictures just as the car looked when I showed up to see it. Poor cell phone quality though.
Last week tinted the windows, switched wheels out and dropped in the tails.
