Nice project! I was thinking of doing something similar. Do you know if the engine harness is plug and play between the V6 and GT cars? Or do you have to change both harnesses? Also, are you getting your parts (harness, radiator, cluster) new or from like ebay or a parts car? Any help is appreciated.

I would think the harness are different between the two. I know the Shelby stuff is different for sure. I have been buying all the Ford stuff from Steve@Fordparts.

How come you didn't show me this earlier Greg? I feel left out out. Especially since you never got me a size medium RET shirt haha. Looks like a fun project for sure. It is really cool and coming along nicely Greg. Hope to see you at Knotts... Stan

The silver 05 in the background is my car. The red Shelby behind the motor is a friends :coolman:

I will be selling that clutch set up since I am going auto.

How much different is the wiring from the V6? Did you have to order the compete wires and wire harness off the GT500 or could your reuse some of the v6 connections?

Subscribed!

Keep up the good work.

I'm wanting to order this crate motor for my GT. Just curious on how much would bolt up and how much wouldn't.

nice work, i liek the ford racing diff cover, im ganna get that or a trick flow.

Also, i bet the gt500 motor cost a pretty penny.

I remember how expensive the cobra motors were/are, so that thign musta been outrageous.
