you would have to drain the tranny fluid and look at the valve body itself. if its from ftvb there should be something written on it with marker saying what kind it is.(i think)
it can be done fast with a nice garage to work in and a kiddie pool to drain the stock pan into...lolWiked L said:That seems like a lot of work just to find out about the valve body.
It has 32,000 miles on it we got a great deal. Mod money is tight. I don't know if I wanna lower it yet. I've been tinker with the idea of a different hood. I really hate the stock ones. I don't know what Carl has budgeted me yet.

Pullies are stock size... trans pan has drain and looks stock.
Here is a pic of the cai.... any ideas on which one it is?

the stock tranny pan you have to unbolt every bolt and tip it to drain the fluid... or some people punch a hole in it cause they are putting a bigger better one on. take a pic of the pan and i'll tell ya if its stock or not, maybe someone put a drain plug on the stock one

I wish I could talk the wife into an L of her own!!!! I guess a Cobra would work also.
Nice looking truck. White was my second choice.
That looks like a MAC CAI.

ChrisNelson said:Sounds like a 4x4 pan to me. Does it shift hard?? It may already have a FTVB or LFPVB.
ChrisNelson said:Yeah, it holds more fluid and is very common.
Wiked L said:As my husband says... if your wife is into it, it just cost more money to get her a car too. So becarefull what you wish for ;-)
