Hey guys,

Just got a 1995 Cobra. Pretty much all stock (as of now). It's rio red, and only has 33,xxx miles on it. 1 owner car, actually came from PA...but the undercarriage is so clean you could eat off it if you wanted.

Only "mods" it has as of now is the snake in the grille (done by me), and a tramp stamp on the gas tank (done by the PO)

What I'd like to to-
SVE shorty antenna
Lowering springs
03/04 Termi wheels or 95 Cobra R wheels
Maybe some new mufflers

But she's gonna stay mostly stock other than that.

Super clean interior. Backseat has never been sat in, and it still has the original cobra floor mats in the trunk.

Welcome to the site. I love your Cobra, I had its twin a few years back, had to sell that one in 2002. Rio Red w/blk leather, if I remember correctly, there were only 535 with that combo in 95. I still miss that car, last year with the 5.0, just a great looking car. Have fun with it man!

Looks like you found a super-clean cobra! Just an idea, I like how these look dropped 2" with the oem wheels.

First, welcome to SVTP! And congratulations on buying your '95 Cobra. Looks very nice, and I like your mods list. Sensible for what you're looking for.

You don't have to buy a shorty antenna. Just do it yourself. It's VERY easy, and you can select the height you most prefer, vs. the very short shorty height. Many set the height just below the top of the windshield. I have easy-to-follow instructions right HERE on my website.

Thanks dude! Sorry to hear you had to sell your baby.

Yep, 535 is the number. That and the fact that its almost totally unmolested make me keep going back and forth on doing any mods like springs or wheels to it. The engine isn't gonna get touched as far as mods, and I'm gonna leave the sound system all stock (I thought I was gonna have to go aftermarket HU for a little while though...and that killed me on the inside. already had to rip the CD player apart to fix it  )

Definetly haveing a blast with it so far. I know it's not as fast or powerful as the newer 4.6 DOHC cobras, but can't beat that sound of a pushrod 5.0. And any V8 is better than my little 3L V6 in my ranger. Lol
welcome. Where in Georgia are you?

In the Augusta area. How about yourself?

Thanks!

Thank you!

Yeah, it does look a little lower than some stock mustangs I've seen. Especially since I ditched the not- factory front mudflaps
as of today. Seriously debating springs, but its gonna be a while before I could get any anyways.

And thanks for the link. I may have to try that out with a cheap junkyard antenna. Last time I got an antenna there, I think they just gave it to me for the low low price of $free.99 :D

Welcome to SVTP, very nice Cobra you have. My uncle had a Rio Red 94 that was pretty much identical all he did was take off the mufflers and put cobra r wheels on. Wish he never sold it cause I would've loved to have that car
