Newbie here to this site, but not to mustangs. I live in Valencia, CA and have had a 1967 Mustang FB with a 390, then a 428, then I had a 1997 GT, then a 2005 GT, and now a 2006 GT. I have known this site for a long time, but for whatever reason have not signed up until now.
The 2006 Mustang GT that used to have a 281 with a 2.3 Whipple @ 18psi that I would drive to work and also race. Eventually the best ET at Famoso was a 10.138 @ 132.XX mph. Then I decided to go a completely different direction and go with a 572 cid big block ford with a powerglide and a 9 inch rearend. Could I have gone just as fast with a mod motor and a TT? Of course, but I just wanted something different. It took me about 16 months to complete this project, but now its running and I am going to attend my first PSCA event with it July 1-3rd.
Here are some pictures:
And a quick little video of one of my license passes to the 330' mark:

1.37 60' with me leaving only at 4000 rpm and not knowing how to drive the car yet
