Newbie here to this site, but not to mustangs. I live in Valencia, CA and have had a 1967 Mustang FB with a 390, then a 428, then I had a 1997 GT, then a 2005 GT, and now a 2006 GT. I have known this site for a long time, but for whatever reason have not signed up until now.

The 2006 Mustang GT that used to have a 281 with a 2.3 Whipple @ 18psi that I would drive to work and also race. Eventually the best ET at Famoso was a 10.138 @ 132.XX mph. Then I decided to go a completely different direction and go with a 572 cid big block ford with a powerglide and a 9 inch rearend. Could I have gone just as fast with a mod motor and a TT? Of course, but I just wanted something different. It took me about 16 months to complete this project, but now its running and I am going to attend my first PSCA event with it July 1-3rd.

Here are some pictures:

And a quick little video of one of my license passes to the 330' mark:

1.37 60' with me leaving only at 4000 rpm and not knowing how to drive the car yet

Hot damn that's a sweet setup. Welcome aboard.

I'm in Valencia plenty. I'd love to check it out sometime.

So it makes 924hp? Any spray? What's the CR?

Yes, 924 hp all motor. Here is the dyno, the dyno sheet is at the end of the video:

Compression is 16:1. No spray yet. I was going to go with a single plate once I get comfortable with the car, but because of the high compression everyone I have talked to said they would only recommend a fogger style system so each cylinder could be adjusted accordingly.

Hey PSF!

Looks like we both signed up the same week! I may make it out to Fontana this weekend - If I do I'll stop by and say hi!
