Hey Hotrodcobra, how much work was it to put in longtubes with a tubular k member?

No interference at all with the Pro-Fab tubular K, but clearance with everything else was a pia. Let's see, had to drop the steering column slightly with a couple of shims (washers), clearance/grind both sides of the SFI bellhousing, double the header gaskets to clear the Flaming River rack, slight firewall clearancing (big hammer fix), modify transmission crossmember and maybe some other stuff that I can't remember right now...Most of these issues would have to be addressed even my engine were not moved back 1" and lowered 1/2". The headers are awesome, but they were a pia. Hope this helps. :beer:

You have any more underside shots, specifically of the sub-frame connectors? Did you repaint the whole underside of the car?

Here are a couple more. Doesn't show the entire subframe connectors though :shrug: . They were one of the first things I put on the car back in '93.
I was not planning on painting under the car or even the engine compartment during the current rebuild, I was just going to touch up a couple of spots, but damn, the factory hardly put any paint under the hood, so I painted the engine compartment and it looked so good I went ahead and painted the entire undercarraige.

BTW, you have a very nice, clean car. :thumbsup:
